Background

Butler Labs develops machine learning solutions for developers to use when building applications. You can learn more about them at www.butlerlabs.ai.

Challenge

Butler Labs had successfully launched their inbound program, but it was largely managed by the founding team whose core expertise was not in growth marketing, so it was not the best use of their time. They were looking for a partner who could manage inbound growth so the founders could focus on product.

Another challenged faced by the team was how best to instrument tracking to measure which leads were qualified, how they progress down the funnel, and how they converted into sales. This advanced tracking system was not yet in place, making it more difficult to track leads through the funnel, and ultimately more difficult to optimize.

Solution

Butler Labs engaged Stackmatix just under a year ago to take over management of their Google Search campaigns to acquire, onboard, and convert their target audience into paying customers.

Stackmatix achieved these results by enhancing tracking and optimizing for sales opposed to leads. This shift enabled us to optimize more efficiently, and therefore enabled us to scale up our budgets.

Stackmatix also provided guidance and consultation on SEO best practices and has been supporting Butler in improving their organic search results as well.

Results

Stackmatix was able to immediately improve tracking, scale campaigns, and drive improved results. 

In 2022 compared to 2021, budgets are up 87.5%/month, lead volume is up 141%, and the rate of leads being sales-qualified is up by 24%.
