Background

Challenge
There are over 9,000 startups each year that receive early-stage funding. This creates quite a challenge for a business looking to focus their marketing efforts on this target market. It is a large number of startups to reach out to in a timely manner, and digital automation is the only approach that can make the process possible in an efficient manner.
Solution
Pareto offers a variety of data solutions targeted for startups: finding investors, finding influencers, building B2B lead lists, and more. As a first step, we focused on Google Search ads as a way to let startups come to us who were expressing these needs via Google Search. We were able to identify and scale Pareto's Google Search campaign to thousands of targeted keywords to make sure we identified every possible angle by which someone could be searching for a solution Pareto has to offer.
By funneling interested and high-quality startup leads directly to the site, we were able to develop the audience data needed to more easily scale other channels. We activated Remarketing and Lookalike campaigns on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook/IG to share Pareto's most relevant blog content to these audiences to further inform them of Pareto's solutions.
As with all marketing campaigns, setting up the proper tracking system was instrumental to optimizing our results. With B2B clients where leads do not instantaneously convert into purchases, there is a sales cycle and delay in time before a conversion to customer, so we set up Offline Conversion Uploads to maximize our tracking and optimization process. Whenever a new customer signs up, we are able to relay this information back to our advertising platforms so we can optimize to Customers opposed to Leads, which is how Stackmatix always optimizes campaigns. Further, prioritizing the biggest and best customers enables us to maximize returns for Pareto.
Results
As a result of working together and also the amazing grit and hard work of the Pareto team, Pareto has grown by more than 10x in revenue in the past two years, and recently raised a $4.5M Seed Round on the back of their incredible growth. Stackmatix focuses on working with and scaling clients over the long-term and we are proud of contributing to Pareto achieving this milestone, but are even more excited about what Pareto will achieve in the years to come. Stackmatix has experience working with clients all the way through IPO and we are just in the early stages of our journey with Pareto to achieve a similar outcome.
